Rachel Campbell  Mother’s Day and Baptism (Junior Church and Junior Youth) Mother’s Day Chorus Men’s Choir –  Rehearsal on May 7th at 7:00pm – 7:30 for the Mother’s Day chorus – Any tenors and bass-voice types from the congregation are invited to join the special chorus to assist in leading worship on Mother’s Day May 11th, Let’s fill the choir loft to sing joyfully together for Mother’s Day/Family Sunday. Don’t be shy, we know you are out there and this is a great time to see what church is like from the choir loft!!!! ATTENTION PAST RECIPIENTS OF THE DR. C DUANE MOLLINS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: The Trustees and the Mollins family would like to provide supplementary scholarships to previous scholarship winners who are still pursuing their post-secondary education.  They invite past recipients who fit the following criteria to apply.    Students must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education with at least one year of schooling remaining, and are active in Trinity United Church life.  Students must apply by letter indicating their current school enrollment and future plans.  Please be sure to include contact information; cell phone and email. Deadline for application is May 16, 2025 by 3:00pm. Letters of application may be submitted to the church office or by email to admin@trinitysummerside.ca. Food Box Program: The next food donation blitz will be NEXT SATURDAY MAY 10th 10am-1pm. Financial contributions are also welcome so that we can continue to purchase items that are needed. Clean reusable bags needed. The Food Boxes are available for pickup on Tuesdays 9am – 1pm and Thursdays 12pm to 3pm. Sunday, June 8th service – a celebration in honour of our 100th Anniversary! As we prepare for Trinity’s 100th Anniversary Celebration on June 8th, we want to hear about your ‘favourite Trinity memory’. You can email your memory to Peggy@TrinitySummerside.ca, or drop your written memories off to the Church Office or the boxes at each entrance (please be sure to include your name). Your memories will be compiled and shared at the June 8th Anniversary event, as well as throughout the year with the congregation (we might even share them on Facebook too). Everyone is invited to participate – we look forward to hearing about your memorable moments here at Trinity.     Free Volunteer Food Safety Class: Register on Health PEI website for the class to be offered here at Trinity on Tuesday, May 13 from 6-9pm. 2025 Rev. Merrill J. MacLeod Memorial Scholarship!  Apply now. This $750 scholarship is available to graduating Grade 12 students from Three Oaks High School who:Are actively involved in their church and community; Demonstrate Christian character; Have financial need;  Are pursuing post-secondary education. UCW Monthly meeting: To be held at 1:30pm, May 13th in the Boardroom. Trinity Women’s Monthly Luncheon:  This month we meet on Tuesday, May 20th at 11:30am at the Wet End Bar & Grill 55 Greenwood Drive.  All ladies are welcome.   Save the date for special concert: Dunroamin is our own Harold and Marnie Noye’s band with special guests. They will present a performance on Sunday, May 25th at 2:30p.m. at Trinity Summerside. Tickets are $15 per person and will be available in the office and at the door. World famous Trinity fudge will be available for purchase at the show! Please invite your family and friends to enjoy this performance.
