Trinity United Concert Series brings Juliette Squarebriggs and Wayne Ellis to the stage

March 15 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm UTC-4

On March 15th at 2:00 P.M. the Trinity United Concert Series brings Juliette Squarebriggs and Wayne Ellis to the stage.

The first half of the show, will feature Squarebriggs who moved to PEI with her daughter Melissa and her late husband George almost 30 years ago. Juliette was born in NB along the Baie of Chaleurs she is #11 of 12 children. Growing up there was always music in the household so she has been singing for as long as she can remember. She learned to play guitar for her love of singing. Now on her own, since her side-kicks, Jack and Fred have both decided to retire from music, she says she will keep singing for a long long time, even if she has to gather her own audience like she does at Wedgewood Manor most Sundays! LOL.

The second half of the show will feature Ellis who is a Summerside resident, mostly known as a Bassist on the island, he entered the world of Finger style guitar 10 years ago and since then he has been performing many of his own compositions at venues across the island. In the last year Wayne has played at the Eptek Centre, Indian River Festival, Music from the Manse. Slemon Park Lecture Theater and Lennon Recovery House. Sit back and relax as you watch the magic of his fingers on the strings fill the church with beautiful mixes of Contemporary, Progressive, Folk / Roots, Celtic instrumentals influenced by Bruce Cockburn, Jimmy Page, Michael Hedges, Don Ross, Martin Simpson, Al Petteway and more. Songs from the Imagination, Songs from the Heart!

Admission is $12.00 at the door and doors open at 1:15 PM. Advance tickets are available at the church office at 90 Spring Street in Summerside during regular business hours or from Wendell at 902 954 1235.
