Fiddlers’ Sons and Keelin Wedge are set to play Trinity United Church Summerside Sunday February 16 2pm-4pm. This will be the award winning folk music group’s first time back to Summerside since appearing before a sold out crowd at The Harbourfront Theater, while opening for The Ellis Family Band last summer. Fiddlers’ Sons features singer-songwriter Eddy Quinn on lead vocals, guitar and fiddle, multi-instrumentalist Keelin Wedge on vocals, guitar, fiddle and bass, singer-songwriter John B Webster on vocals and guitar, and musical veterinarian Courtney Hogan-Chandler on fiddle. The group will showcase new tunes, stories and songs which will be featured on their new cd, set to be released this spring. They will also offer up some music from a cd that Keelin Wedge and Courtney Hogan-Chandler recorded together called “Dark and Amber Rosin”. There will be copies of the group’s cds, along with Eddy Quinn’s book Island Characters available for sale. $15.00 Admission at the door or advance tickets are available from the church office at 90 Spring Street.
